About

In my day job I am a small potato that helps people fix trains. There’s always things to do, and shenanigans to have.

When I’m not doing my day job, I would like to spend time on my interests and questionable hobbies:

I am a bit of a transport enthuasist. I don’t remember how this started but my parents told me in the past that I like watching wheels turn round and round, and you know what has a lot of wheels? buses and trains! Anyways I like a bit of bus & train photography every so often - although having said that I wouldn’t call myself brillant at taking the photos, so I try and see if there are ways to make my photos less suck. I am a bit of a plane enthuasist too, ever since I went flew to Thailand with my aunts and uncles one summery when I was little.

Secondly I am interested in computers and tech. Not necessarily wanting to get the latest and greatest (because I’m poor 😢) but just wanted to be aware of the latest developments. Fan of LTT (maybe not at the moment given what’s come to light recently), have yet to buy anything from their store. My interest in tech began as soon as I was introduced to computers in primary school, and the ‘informational superhighway’ that the internet was hyped to be - even though this wasn’t how it turn out at the end. You can find out more about my humble tech setup here.

I also do a bit of anime watching. I learnt a bit of Japanese (as you do) in a bid to better understand what these 2D characters are saying, but in the midst of doing that I realised that I didn’t know my mother tongue, Cantonese, that well. So now I am also on a bit of a very slow journey on rediscovering Cantonese as well.

I have used the Seredyna template with a few modifications here and there to suit my needs.

For the photo albums I've used the Lightbox script from Jekyll Codex, as well as the setup described by Jimmy Xiao.
